Sorry for my absence...

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to say sorry and make sure you all know that I'm still alive ;)

I've been so busy these last two months with studies, exams, work, ... and so much more! But it's not over, which means it will get more and more difficult for me to upload posts on my blog. I'm at a time in life where so much stuff is happening (finishing school, soon passing my driver's licence, looking for an appartment, ...). But this doesn't mean that I'm not blogging anymore, no way! I love blogging. I never thought I would enjoy it this much when I started. But I do! It's so wonderful. I feel so free: my blog is my own little piece of the internet where I can choose the shape, colours, everything on my page...and the posts! Of course I don't mean that we can put anything up on our blogs, but we have the freedom to take our own photos, to talk in our own words ( by the way, I'm not a good writer, so sorry for mistakes or weird sentences :)) about things that really interest us and might (or not) interest others.

So that's all I wanted to say; I just wanted to remind you that the lack of activity on my blog doesn't signify that I'm bored of blogging, no no no! I just don't find that much time these days.

Well I wish everyone a great day! And I hopefully will post some more stuff.

By the way, feel free to send me ideas or themes for posts (cause I do sometimes need some inspiration)

Let the party begin!

The table is set, the confetti is ready, the balloons are floating,

now all we need are the guests!

Yes today is my birthday party (well in a few hours it will start). Haha I just noticed that these pictures make it look as if it was a child's birthday =D but I just love confetti, balloons, etc and I'll always love them ;they always add something very special to birthdays.

Simple Pictures (5)

Hi everyone! It's been a while that I haven't been on my blog. I just had no time with revisions, exams, etc... But a really nice girl I met not long ago, lent me her Sony Alpha 230, so here are the photos I took with them:

I noticed that this camera is very good for taking portraits and close-up pictures. I still think that the Canon EOS's are slightly better in image quality, especially in low light.

You can compare yourself, a few weeks ago I tried the canon eos 600d:  Simple Pictures (4)

and I think the pictures are slightly better.

Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer and I'll try to post more pictures!

What I read...

Hello again! Today's post is about books. Summer is nearly here, so what should we read? Well, being quite a reader, I decided to show you four of my favourite books. Who knows, you might want to read one of them? Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

100 comments + discovery!

First of all, I'd like to say a little hurray cause I've reached 100 comments on my blog! yay!

For most bloggers this must be a small number, but for me it's a lot.

I visited a lot of blogs and websites these last few days, so I've decided to sometimes do a "discovery" post, where I make a small list of the new blogs I've discovered and liked.

(p.s. nothing is sponsored, it's all my opinion)

Tout d'abord, je voudrais dire un grand youpi pour avoir atteint 100 commentaires sur mon blog! yay!

Pour la plupart des bloggers ce chiffre est insignifiant, mais pour moi c'est de la joie.

J'ai visité beaucoup de blogs et de sites ces derniers jours et j'ai donc décidé de parfois écrire un article sur les "découvertes" que j'ai faites, où je parlerai des blogs que j'ai vraiment apprécié.

(p.s. je ne suis pas payée pour ces listes, tout est mon opinion personnel)

- Amy-Rose King Photography is a blog owned by a wedding photographer who makes beautiful pictures: sharp, colourful and dreamy. I normally prefer reading and looking at photography blogs created by beginners, or just those who enjoy this hobby. But Amy-Rose's pictures are so perfect that I just wanted to share this with everyone.

-The Saccone Jolys is a couple from Ireland =D who do daily vlogs of their funny lives. She does makeup/beauty videos and he does his own videos but I don't remember what they were about. Anyway, their vlogs are very funny, filled with dogs, puppies, shopping and a baby on the way!

-Freckled Italian is a blog owned by a young woman called Megan. I enjoy her fresh, fun blog and she just had an ad space giveaway (oh well, I lost!) but I find these type of giveaways great!

So those were my little discoveries of these last two weeks, and I hope you'll like these just as much as I do!
